The writer of the unflattering article on Bruce Springsteen is frustrated. The writer claims Bruce isn’t popular and chances are you don’t like his music. He claims Bruce can’t get close to winning an American majority and is probably someone you don’t care about. How does this writer know who I care about? The writer also ran some quick numbers and surmised 93% of Americans didn’t like Bruce Springsteen’s most popular album enough to buy it, disliked it, or never heard it at all.

Why was that article written? What did Bruce directly or indirectly do to this admittedly unsuccessful writer? Is he disgruntled with his place in life? It’s fine not to care for someone’s genuine efforts, however, if you can’t say anything nice, Google ‘how to become happy with yourself.’

I’m naturally protective of my loved ones, of course. I also keep a close watch out for underdogs. These are the vulnerable beings with a beating heart. This doesn’t describe Bruce, however, when I read the article attempting to place Bruce in a dark light, this raised the hackles on the back of my neck. When I notice anything unkind for no apparent reason, my antennae goes up.

Bruce solemnly swears, “There is a place for everyone in Bruce Springsteen’s America.” That’s a noble and soft-hearted comment for everyone in the United States, including the dissatisfied Bruce-bashing writer. Who in their right mind could dismiss anyone’s concerted efforts?

According to Bruce Springsteen. net, “In 2016, Bruce was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama. This is our nation’s highest civilian honor, recognizing an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

The article furthers, “Prior to receiving the award from President Obama, Bruce was introduced to the audience for his contributions as a songwriter, humanitarian, America’s rock and roll laureate and New Jersey’s greatest ambassador. Through stories about ordinary people, to Vietnam veterans to steelworkers, his songs capture the pain and the promise of the American experience. With his legendary E Street Band, Bruce Springsteen leaves everything on stage in epic, communal live performances that rocked audiences for decades. With empathy and honesty, he holds up a mirror to who we are, as Americans chasing our dreams and as human beings trying to do the right thing.”

My hat is off to everyone who supports others’ peaceful endeavors. These individuals are confident, stable, thought-provoking, satisfied and influential in their own right. You’re my mentors and I Follow you on Social Media.

There’s a music man who’s given selflessly to us the past 55 years. Bruce provides what he believes relates to the hearts of you, me and the writer who belittled him. Who could ask for more?
